107th Post Giveaway!

Okay, so I totally missed my 100th post. Sad right? I just breezed right on passed it. Well, to make up for it, I am going to do a 107th post giveaway! Yay! Woohoo! Hooray!
I am going to mix it up a little bit though.
To be able to be entered into the drawing, you must do the following things...
1. Do a random good deed. ie. Pick up trash on your road, Help an old lady cross the street, mow someone elses' grass, etc... 2. Next, either take pictures of the event or find pictures from the Internet to go with it
3. Post about it on your blog (To inspire others to do good as well)
4. And, finally, you need to leave a comment on this post.
(If you don't have a blog, just leave a comment telling me about the event! :D)
(Remember to leave your name and someway to contact you!)
The prize will be a huge!! I am going to do the giveaway in 2 weeks from today (on July 3rd).
I will probably choose one person by just putting all the names into a drawing and another by whoever was the most creative in their good deed.
(I know good deeds are supposed to be secretive, but hey, lets inspire everyone to start doing good.)

I love this idea... Hmmmmmmmmm, now I have to think of one!

marcipants said... know I'm the most service-oriented, so of course I've already posted one to my blog! Totally kidding, but I went over to the nursing home and did my Great-Aunt's nails and did post the picture just today. And maybe it wasn't the MOST creative, but I definitely win the endurance award for being sick and pregnant there with the wonderful smell of the nursing home; you know what I'm talking about. =) This is SUCH a good idea for a giveaway. Thank you for inspiring the best in us.

Thats an awesome idea. I'm going to get working on it, but I think I already have an idea in mind. Thanks for the inspiration!

Great idea Meichelle! I don't know how I missed this looking at your blog... I did the 29 day giving challenge. I didn't really take any pics, but I did make it through the 29 days. :)

This is a great idea. I am still working on finishing my 29 day giving challenge - but ummm... I did pick up trash at the park the other night. Enter me into the drawing!

I guess I've been a slacker. Does taking care of other people's sick kids count as a good deed? LOL. Probably not because I complain about it so much. :) One thing I have been working on a lot lately is a book of rememberance for my grandparents. My grandpa had a stroke recently and hasn't been doing very well lately, and I have been having this nagging feeling that he won't be around much longer. So I scanned and retouched a ton of their pictures and have been journaling and compiling this book for them. I know it's not really a random act, but it's something I feel like I can do for them to help them remember the good times they've had in the past 60 years together. I can only imagine the struggle it has been for my grandma as she's watched my grandpa's health go downhill so quickly so I want them to have this keepsake of the highlights of their lives.
