Austin Clay Hayes

Thank you all for the love and support you have sent this way. We really appreciate it.
The funeral for Austin will be this Friday in Pasco Washington. All of Blakes brothers and sisters (Tyler and Caryn, Josh and Natalie) will be driving up with us. We are going to head up tomorrow after everyone gets off work. Its a 9 hour drive, which means that we will be driving all night long. I am glad that we will have a car full to make it more enjoyable.
I had several people ask me about the picture of Christ. I got it off of THIS site. We actually ordered a 12x16 of the picture to give to Andrea and Clay. We are going to get it framed and give it to their family. We will have his name inscribed at the bottom.
There are some beautiful pictures from this artist. They also do personalized portraits.
“I will not leave you comfortless. … Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:18, 27.)

This is Valerie McBride. The McBride family grew up just down the road from the Johnson's. My mom Cathy McBride worked with Andrea for awhile. Please let Andrea and her entire family know that we are thinking of her, and they are in our prayers. We can't even begin to imagine what a tradegy this is for your family!

I am so sorry to hear about your nephew. That is great you are all going to make it up there. I am sure she needs you all right now. I had no idea at the time how close we were to actually loosing our little baby Rawlin. The have told us may times he is definatly miracle baby.

I will be getting there Sunday night sometime. If you are still there, call my cell number. Do you still have it? That would be crazy to meet up in WA.

{{Hugs to your family.}}
I'm not sure if you or the family think this is morbid, or will think I'm weird (I hope not) but if it feels appropriate, or if it's even a possibility, if you print his little foot with white acrylic paint on cardstock, I would be happy to make it into an angel print. One of the other artists did this recently for a baby that only lived a couple of hours and the mom talks about what a treasure it is to have some physical reminder of him.
